GEORGE Gabriel of Perdmontemp’s , St. David ( fondly known as “Casa”), who resided in the USA, passed away on Thursday 18th February, 2021 in New York, at the age of 77. He leaves to mourn: His wife: Celine Gabriel Children: Michelle, Carmel, Raquel Gabriel Grandchildren: Izon and Ryan Gabriel, All in the U.S. Sisters: Phyllis Gabriel and Sharon Johnson in the ( U.S ) Sister Lucy Gabriel – Sister of St. Joseph of Cluny , Ruthina Victor, Lydia Telesford, Gracelyn Ford and Marie Stewart : all in Grenada Brothers: Robert, in Canada: Clement and Geoffrey, in Grenada Michael Andrews in Trinidad, and Glen Bascombe in Tortola Aunt: Esther Fletcher: Uncle: Ashley Gabriel – in England Sisters-in-law: Marlene, Albertha, Grace and Cisley Brothers-in- law : Johnathon Johnson in the (U. | i have known george since 1996. everyone who knew him knew he loved his family so much. he loved his wife and his girls so much - he even introduced his colleagues to him.
he may have been tough on the outside but anyone who was fortunate enough to get to know him knew he was kind.
he even made our language barrier into a non issue.
i remember a funny incident in a russian restaurant when george was brave enough to join a russian drinking competition.
