Mr. Cecil Wilson Gilbert died peacefully on Thursday, July 7, in the United States following long illness.
Left to mourn are his wife Rosey Theresa Darius-Gilbert, his brothers Andy Gilbert and wife Katie in the United States, Michael Hypolite and family in Trinidad, Martin in Grenada; several sisters including Cecilia Harris and family in Trinidad, Mina Harris-James and family in Grenada, Lucita Harris and family in St. Martin, Jillian Lambert and family, and June Wilson-David and husband in the United States; children Ina and family in Grenada, Patrick and family in the United States, and nephews, Alex and Andy Darius
Several nephews and nieces including Timmy Gilbert and family, Sandra James, Susan James and family, Chris and family, Brent and family, Cher and family, Anike and family,
Brothers- in laws, including Francis Darius and family, Francis Thomas fanily
Sister- in laws including Olive Darius and family, Maria Fraser and family Jean Mitchel and family, Jacy Gil and family

Funeral for the late Cecil Gilbert will take place on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the St. Jerome R. C. Church, 2900 Newkirk Avenue at Nostrand and Newkirk Avenue, Brooklyn. Viewing starts at 9:00am followed by the funeral mass at 10:00am
